Toddlers and Tutus

These started out as 'Toddlers and Tiaras' themed character designs, but drawing make up on kids is just too wrong for me, so they became bratty looking ballerinas. I like the red-head.

Messing around with colours and brushes between freelance projects. I've been trying to find a good speedpainting brush set for Photoshop, but I can't seem to find what I'm looking for. Perhaps I'll just create my own.

Character Design Blog Interview

I was asked to do an interview for the Character Design Blog, which is now up and available to read here! I'm a long-time reader of the blog and it's an honour to be featured alongside some of the top artists and illustrators out there. I'm not worthy!

Hair

Poolside

A wee collection of drawings based on some of the people & kids by the pool while I was on holiday earlier this month. This little boy pushed his (even littler) brother into the pool. The parents erupted and sent him to his pushchair 'for the rest of the holiday'. He started crying and making that wrinkly, old-man face that babies do when they cry.

Longbottom

Everyone is going Potter crazy, so here's my little contribution! I like Neville, he was always one of my favourite characters. I don't know why, maybe it's that killer cardigan collection.

Que Paso

I don't do fan art very often but I can't get enough of Robert Rodriguez movies, and really wanted to draw Jessica Alba's character from the fantastically cheesy and sleazy 'Machete'. She's so damn pretty, I love/hate her.
